Carla Glover

Carla serves as Controller, and is responsible for supporting the finance, accounting, and reporting functions of Civicap Partners. As the Controller, she ensures the reliability, timeliness, and accuracy of all financial reporting. Carla also has broad responsibility for investor reporting and compliance. Carla is also responsible for capital administration, construction draws, and cash management. Additionally, Carla assists with office administration, investor communication, and investor inquiries.

Before joining Civicap, Carla worked as an Accounting Manager at McNair Interests, where she reviewed and analyzed monthly and quarterly financial statements for over 50 legal entities. She was responsible for a team of accounting specialists who performed various accounting functions, including payables, receivables, general ledger entries, and reconciliations across all accounts. Carla played a key role in the successful implementation of the new accounting software and payables management system.

Carla previously worked at TIAA Endowment & Philanthropic Services as a Senior Investment Accountant, where she was responsible for overseeing monthly financial statements for both clients and private fund-of-funds. Additionally, she provided support for operations, trade execution, and cash management.

 

Carla began her career as an auditor at Deloitte Houston. She is a licensed Texas CPA and holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting from Texas State University.
