Ash Hamirani

Ash leads acquisitions, asset management, and research for Civicap Partners.

Before joining Civicap, Ash was an Asset Manager at Nitya Capital, a privately held real estate investment firm that focuses on the acquisition and management of opportunistic and value-add multifamily properties. He was responsible for managing assets through the value-add process from acquisition to disposition. Before joining Nitya, he worked in Portfolio Management at Lionstone Investments. Ash was involved in value-add and core portfolios worth over $2.1B in gross assets. Ash also worked in capital markets for CBRE Capital Markets and Grandbridge Real Estate Capital originating, underwriting, and closing mortgages across a broad array of products, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, insurance company, CMBS, bridge, and HUD-insured loans.

Ash’s community activities include serving as a Stafford Municipal School District Trustee. The SMSD Board of Trustees consists of seven members elected by the City of Stafford community responsible for establishing appropriate policies of governance and operation with the goal to provide a quality education for its students. He serves as the Technology Chair for CCIM Houston/Gulf Coast and holds a Texas Real Estate License.

Ash received his Master’s in Analytics from Texas A&M University and his Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
