As an Investments Associate at Civicap, Ellison is responsible for supporting the company's investment underwriting across development and acquisition, as well as supporting asset management and portfolio management analytics.
Before joining Civicap, Ellison worked as an Acquisitions Analyst at CBRE Investment Management. CBRE is a global real-assets investor-operator and the real estate investment subsidiary of CBRE. At CBRE IM, Ellison focused on the underwriting, due diligence, and closing of conventional multifamily apartments in the four main Texas markets and student housing assets across the US. During his time at CBRE IM, Ellison assisted in the acquisition of over $1 billion in gross asset value.
Ellison is an alumni advisor for the Undergraduate Real Estate Scholars, a real estate organization at the University of Houston. The organization provides students with the foundational skills and knowledge necessary to secure positions in commercial real estate. Additionally, he is a long-time volunteer at St. John Neumann Catholic Church.
Ellison earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting with an emphasis in Real Estate from the University of Houston.
