Helen Bernard

Helen manages the strategic communication between Civicap and its investors.

Helen brings almost a decade of fundraising experience across a variety of nonprofit sectors to Civicap Partners. Her strengths lie in her breadth of communications knowledge and her ability to build meaningful relationships with donors and investors in ways that have a longstanding impact.

Prior to joining Civicap, Helen led the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business Reunion Giving Program where she managed a large annual fund and focused on cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding high-capacity major gift donors around the country. Helen also brings small shop experience from her time in fundraising at The Fay School where she wore many hats and focused on revamping the school’s annual gala, building a robust corporate sponsorship program, and launching the school into their first ever capital campaign.

Helen received her Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Public Relations from Texas Tech University.
