Spence oversees sourcing and execution of development activities for Civicap Partners.
Before joining Civicap, Spence was a Director for Trinsic Residential Group, a national developer of institutional quality multifamily apartments. As a member of the North Texas development team, Spence was directly involved in executing the acquisition, development and disposition of almost 2,000 units with a total capitalization of over $325 million. Previously Spence served as an Associate with Trinsic where he was involved in all stages of the development process for over 7,000 units with a total market capitalization of $1.2 Billion. Prior to joining Trinsic Spence was with Kimco Realty Corporation, who owns North America’s largest portfolio of community shopping centers. As part of the Latin America asset management team, he supported operations and budgeting activities for a $1 Billion portfolio.
Spence graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2009. Spence has been an active member of The Real Estate Council of Dallas (TREC) since 2013. Additionally, Spence is an active Board Member of TouchDown Club of Dallas and serves in multiple capacities at his local church.
